Enter a public website URL and capture a JPEG of the full page, or of the first screen only.

What this tool captures

Enter a public http or https address. The server opens that page and returns a JPEG you can download. Full page is the default: it includes the footer and stops at 12,000 pixels tall. Uncheck full page for a faster first-screen capture at 1280×1080. A page that does not load within 10 seconds times out. When the service is busy, requests wait in a short queue, with at most two captures running at once.

How to take a screenshot

1. Paste a public page address. Localhost and private-network hosts are rejected.
2. Complete the CAPTCHA once. The button stays disabled until it succeeds.
3. Leave full page checked when you need the footer and content below the first screen. Uncheck it when you only need the top of the page and want a faster result.
4. Download the JPEG. An identical address can be served from a cache for about 2 hours.

Limits are 3 screenshots per hour and 10 per day for each IP address.

Common uses

• Review the full layout of a public page, including the footer, and mark what to change.
• Save a public receipt, invoice, or article when the site offers no download.
• Attach one image to a bug report, a tutorial, or a client note instead of several cropped shots.

When to use viewport or full page

• Use the viewport capture for a hero, a bug at the top of a page, or a quick design check.
• Use full page for a long article, a receipt, or a layout review that includes the footer.
• A page taller than 12,000 pixels is cut off at that height. Split the review or capture the part you need another way.

What it cannot capture

• Pages behind a login. The tool only sees what an anonymous visitor sees, which is often a sign-in screen.
• Localhost, private IP addresses, and other non-public hosts.
• Content that never finishes loading, or a layout that depends on a click, a cookie banner you have not dismissed, or a location the server does not have.

Privacy

The address you submit is sent to the Web4pps server so it can open the page and render the image. Screenshots are not kept permanently and are not shared as a gallery. An identical address may be cached for about 2 hours so a repeat request does not render the page again, then the cached image is discarded.
